From left: Claretha Hill, a teacher at Partnership Middle School, and James Jones, a teacher at Armstrong Junior High School, were selected as recipients of the Extra Yard for Teachers Award presented by the College Football Playoff Foundation. The two teachers in the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District were recognized for teaching excellence by their students for creating classroom spaces and dynamic learning environments that encourage students to be critical thinkers.
