The Southern Economic Development Council has elected Meryl Fisackerly to serve as the Mississippi state director on its board of directors.
The SEDC announced the election of new directors and officers at its 2022 SEDC annual conference in San Antonio on Aug. 16.
Fisackerly, chief operations officer for the Golden Triangle Development LINK, will serve a two-year term on the board.
“The LINK is proud to have Meryl serving on the SEDC board of directors,” LINK Chief Executive Officer Joe Max Higgins Jr. said. “It has been many years since our organization has had a seat on this board.”
The SEDC is a nonprofit composed of active and influential industrial and economic developers from business and industry as well as state and local development agencies.
