The 2021 Atlanta Braves World Series trophy will be on display Wednesday at the Tennessee Williams Home, 300 Main St., in Columbus.
Fans are invited to take pictures with the trophy from 4 to 7 p.m., according to a Columbus-Lowndes Convention and Visitors Bureau press release. It is part of a 151-stop tour that not only commemorates the team’s 2021 world championship season but also 151 years of Braves baseball.
Each tour stop includes promotional item giveaways and an opportunity to win a VIP Sweepstakes experience to Trust Park as the Braves play the New York Mets on Oct. 1.
The event is free to attend. Yardbird Bento, Taco Amigo, Bulleys Lodge and Snowie Cool Treats will all be selling food.
