Two men were shot on Northside Tuesday night, and police are looking for a suspect, Columbus Police Chief Fred Shelton said.
Shelton said officers responded to a shots fired call between 10:30 and 11 p.m. in the area of 14th Avenue North and 21st Street. They found a tan Lexus at 14th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive with bullet holes in the passenger side.
Two men inside had been shot, Shelton said. Both were taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle with non-life-threatening injuries. They were treated and released.
Shelton said a Black male with dreads, dressed in a red shirt, allegedly shot into the car and then fled on foot.
He said investigators are developing leads and he hopes an arrest warrant will be issued today.
