Greater Golden Triangle Realtor Kris Davis was installed Oct. 6 as president for the Mississippi Association of Realtors at the association’s annual state convention held in Hattiesburg. More than 400 attended the convention at the Lake Terrace Convention Center for continuing education, award ceremonies, membership meetings, and an expo with more than 30 vendors.
Davis and her fellow executive committee members will spend 2022 encouraging Realtors statewide to enhance their inner innovator through creativity. Her yearlong theme of “CREATE” focuses on Realtors creating better communities, outstanding leaders and countless opportunities.
Davis and her husband, Mike Davis, purchased his mother’s real estate business in his hometown of Columbus in 2008. They are now the Broker Owners of RE/MAX Partners serving Starkville and Columbus. She grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and received her degree in Communications and English from Mississippi State University. Prior to entering the real estate
industry, she spent 20 years building a career in advertising at Godwin Group. She is also a graduate of the prestigious LeadershipMAR program and was named Top 40 Under 40 by Mississippi Business Journal and one of Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women. Davis is the proud mother of Shelby Pietrangelo and son-in-law Clark Pietrangelo.
