West Point police are investigating a Sunday night shooting at an apartment complex off Highway 50.
Officers responded to a shots-fired call at the Timberlane Apartments on Timberlane Drive just after 6:30 p.m., according to a post on West Point Police Department’s Facebook page. By the time officers arrived, the victim in the case had already been taken to North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point via private vehicle.
The victim was treated and released from NMMC later that night, the post said.
No arrests have been made, but investigators have several persons of interest.
