The Starkville Main Street Association has named Paige Watson as the new director for the Main Street program.
Watson currently serves as the special events and projects coordinator for the Greater Starkville Development Partnership. Under her new role, she will continue to assist in the development, planning and coordination for all Partnership and Main Street events and programs.
“Paige has been an important part of our organization for some time now,” said Starkville Main Street President Hagan Walker in a press release. “We look forward to the continued growth of our downtown business district and, with Paige’s vision and energy, the next phase of improvements.”
Watson gained her bachelor’s in communications at Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Alabama.
Watson will assume her new role immediately.
