Oktibbeha County Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 4 p.m. Wednesday on Chisholm Drive.
Upon arrival, smoke and flames were visible. Firefighters attacked and extinguished the fire. The residential building had extensive damage to it with the potential of total loss, Oktibbeha County Fire Coordinator Patrick Warner said.
No one was inside the building when it caught fire, and no one was injured from the incident.
The cause is undetermined at the time but is being investigated.
