Butler Snow attorney and Columbus native Timothy M. Threadgill has been selected as a Fellow of the Mississippi Bar Foundation.
Through its Fellows program, the Mississippi Bar Foundation recognizes outstanding members of the Mississippi Bar, with membership being limited to only ten percent of the Bar. The Mississippi Bar Foundation, since its organization, has come to represent the highest level of professionalism and competence for a Mississippi lawyer.
For 30 years, Threadgill has represented businesses and management throughout the country in employment litigation, employment counseling, business torts, unfair competition, trade secrets litigation, restrictive covenants, and OSHA matters.
He is regularly recognized by Chambers USA, Super Lawyers, Who’s Who Legal, Benchmark Litigation and Best Lawyers in America, and has been named Lawyer of the Year three times for his work in labor and employment law. He is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Attorneys, a fellowship of the most accomplished members of the labor and employment community, the Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar and the American Bar Association. Threadgill is admitted to all federal and state courts in Mississippi, Arkansas’ federal courts, the Northern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third, Fifth and Sixth Circuits. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and his J.D. from the University of Alabama.
