Lowndes County investigators are searching for a Crawford man they believe may have threatened a witness in an ongoing case.
Dekylan Coreonteau Malone, 18, of Long Street, is wanted for allegedly intimidating a witness by threat, according to a Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office press release. Malone is a defendant accused of shooting into an occupied dwelling in Crawford on Mach 28.
According to previous reporting by The Dispatch, Malone was arrested in July after he allegedly fired multiple shots into a home on Long Street, near where he lives.
Investigators would not confirm whether the victim was the witness in the shooting in the March 28 case.
