A married couple were arrested in Caledonia after investigators say they got into an altercation that involved the wife shooting at her husband.
Deputies with Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office arrested Alisha Diane Prather, 40, and Gregory Wayne Prather, 44, both of 2420 Honnoll Mill Road, at their home Tuesday night after receiving a report that Alisha Prather was shooting at Gregory Prather.
Through the course of the investigation, deputies learned the couple had “assaulted each other” over a previous disturbance involving their juvenile son, according to a LCSO press release. Deputies also found a firearm at the scene.
When deputies first arrived at the home, Alisha Prather went into the home and only came out after officers gave repeated commands for her to leave the house over a public address system, the release said.
Both suspects have been charged with aggravated domestic violence. They are currently in custody at Lowndes County Adult Detention Center. Their bonds have not been set.
