Two inmates who escaped from Noxubee County Transitional Center in Macon Sunday night have been taken into custody again.
Christopher Parmenter, 23, and Andrew Carter escaped around 7:45 p.m. Sunday night, according to Mississippi Department of Corrections’ Facebook page. MDOC updated its Facebook an hour ago to confirm they have been captured, though MDOC didn’t specify where.
Both Parmenter and Carter were in custody on burglary charges.
Noxubee County Sheriff Department also warned the public of the inmates’ escape on its Facebook page Sunday night.
MDOC has Parmenter listed in its inmate directory. He was convicted in 2016 in Marshall County and was sentenced to serve three years in prison for two residential burglaries. Carter was convicted in Union County, according to MDOC.
