Two Kosciusko men are facing drug trafficking charges after being arrested at a traffic stop on Tuesday.
Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Brett Watson said deputies arrested 38-year-old Robert Jacob McGee and 37-year-old Mark Anderson Lassiter on suspicion of trafficking controlled substances.
During the traffic stop, which happened on Jeff Peay Road, deputies seized more than 30 grams of crystal methamphetamine, an undisclosed amount of cash, and two firearms.
Both suspects are still in the Oktibbeha County Jail, with bonds of $100,000 each.
Watson said the investigation into the case is ongoing and more arrests are possible. He said the case is not related to a pair of arrests for burglary and receiving stolen property from late last week.
