An accused drug dealer has turned himself in to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office days after authorities say they found more than $10,000 worth of methamphetamine in his home.
Marcus Starks, 36, of Pheba, was arrested at CCSO at about 1:30 p.m. Monday, according to a Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics press release. He faces charges of sale of methamphetamine, trafficking in controlled substance and possession of marijuana, according to the Clay County Jail’s inmate roster.
Officers with MBN, as well as CCSO and West Point Police Department executed a search warrant at Starks’ home last week and found about 106 grams of methamphetamine, for a total estimated street value of $10,620. Starks is also the subject of an 18-month drug investigation.
Starks’ bond for the felony charges has not been set.
