Five people face felony burglary charges stemming from three separate incidents in Starkville this week.
On Tuesday, Starkville Police Department arrested Cody Toms, 25, of Starkville, on four counts of residential burglary after he allegedly broke into apartments on Research Boulevard Monday.
On Wednesday, officers arrested four men in two separate incidents.
Two Starkville men — Jeremy Perkins, 26, and Quontavious Wilborn, 24 — were both charged with auto burglary and possession of a weapon by a felon in connection to a July 20 incident on Nash Street.
Officers also arrested Jabari Brooks, 22, of Crawford, and Joshua Jennings, 26, of Starkville, after arriving at Moncrief Park, located on North Jackson Street, for a report of a burglary in process.
Both men were charged with commercial burglary.
A third suspect connected to the incident was identified, a SPD release states, and further arrests are expected.
Toms’ bond was set at $60,000, and bonds for Perkins and Wilborn were both set at $10,000.
Bond information for Brooks and Jennings was not immediately available Thursday.
Anyone with information into these and any other incidents is asked to call SPD at 662-323-4131 or the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 800-530-7151.
