A Columbus man was arrested for an Aug. 17 burglary when he arrived at the Lowndes County Courthouse to face indictments for other felony charges, including a previous burglary.
Patrion Devonte Barrett, 20, of 306 Forrest Blvd., was arrested Monday, according to a press release from the Columbus Police Department. Barrett is accused of burglarizing a residence on Spruce Street on Aug. 17.
Police took Barrett into custody after he arrived at the courthouse to face indictments on charges of burglary and aggravated assault. He was denied bond.
Police are still searching for Joshua Ray Hackman, 20, another suspect in the Aug. 17 burglary. Hackman’s last known address is 319 12th Ave. South.
