Officers from the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash in Lowndes County this week.
Xaviera Smith, 27, of Macon, was driving north on Highway 45 at approximately 4:45 a.m. Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle and rolled it near the intersection with Frontage Road, according to a MHP media release.
Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant pronounced Smith dead at the scene.
MHP continues to investigate.
