Officers from the Columbus Police Department have arrested a man in connection with kidnapping and armed robbery, according to a media release from the CPD.
Tyree Sparks, 22, of 806 8th St. South in Columbus, was arrested at approximately 10:22 p.m. on Nov. 12.
Sparks is suspected in the Nov. 4 robbing of a C&G Railroad employee on 11th Street North.
Sparks is accused of holding the railroad employee at gunpoint and forcing him to drive to an ATM machine and withdraw money. Police did not say how much money was withdrawn.
Sparks’ bond has been set at $150,000.
