JACKSON — The Mississippi Development Authority will lead a delegation of Mississippi companies on a business development trip to Japan and South Korea on Oct. 14-21.
MDA officials say in a news release that talks will be with prospects in aerospace, biotechnology, computers, medical equipment and devices, pharmaceuticals, pollution control equipment, safety and security and telecommunication equipment.
The trip will coincide with the Tokyo Aerospace Symposium 2015; BioJapan 2015, Asia’s top partnering event for biotechnology; RISCON 2015, the risk control security and safety exposition in Japan; and Seoul ADEX 2015, an international aerospace and defense exhibition.
The Small Business Administration-funded Mississippi State Trade Export Promotion program reimburses eligible businesses up to 50 percent of their travel costs and provides interpretation services.
The deadline to register is July 20.
