A 23-year-old woman was arrested and charged with arson after allegedly setting a car on fire after a domestic dispute.
Starkville police officers were dispatched to 1200 South Louisville St. for a domestic dispute at 6:20 a.m. Sunday. Officers were able diffuse the argument, and both individuals went their separate ways, a Starkville Police Department release states.
Officers were called to the address about an hour later, where they discovered a burning vehicle.
Teyana Shunquie Macon Savage, 23, was charged with third degree arson. She was processed and is held on a $10,000 bond.
Savage was scheduled to appear in Starkville Municipal Court Monday night.
