A Thursday stabbing in Starkville injured one person and led to the arrest of another.
Starkville Police Department arrested 36-year-old Jack Goss Jr., of 612 Garrard Road, Apt. B, and charged him with aggravated assault Friday after an attack occurred the previous day on Yellow Jacket Drive.
Officers were dispatched about 4 p.m. that day to an undisclosed address, an SPD release states. A victim was injured in the incident but subsequently released from OCH Regional Medical Center.
Goss’ bond was set at $50,000. He is held at the Oktibbeha County Jail and awaits his initial appearance.
