Starkville Municipal Court Judge Rodney Faver set a combined $1 million bond for a Starkville man who allegedly shot a gas station attendant Friday.
Cedrick Demoyne Young, 33, of 309 Reed Road, was charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault after he allegedly entered the 1018 Louisville St. Chevron, brandished a firearm, demanded money and shot the gas station’s attendant shortly after midnight.
Young allegedly shot the clerk in the head after forcing him to open a cash register’s drawer. He fled the scene with the cash box shortly after.
The clerk was last reported in stable condition.
On Monday, Faver set bond at $500,000 for each count after hearing testimony from Starkville Police Department officials.
