PURVIS — Officials say a 42-year-old Purvis woman has been arrested for providing alcohol to minors, after an investigation into an accident that claimed the lives of three teenagers.
The Sun Herald reports Kristi Morris was charged with six counts of violating the social host law, six counts of furnishing beer or light wine to a person under 21 years old and one count of possession of beer or light wine in a dry county.
The charges were the result of an investigation into a Sept. 25 car accident near Purvis.
If convicted, she faces up to 21 months in prison, fines, and community service.
