COURTLAND — Panola County authorities say a 19-year-old woman died after she was doused with a flammable liquid and set on fire.
Deputies tell WMC TV officers responded to a burning car Saturday night and found Jessica Chambers near the vehicle. She was taken to a Memphis, Tennessee, hospital, where she later died.
Officials say Chamber’s father worked for the sheriff’s department in the maintenance department.
Deputies say they have no motive or suspects in the death.
