According to Columbus Police Department Investigations Commander Brett Swan, Walmart received a bomb threat via a phone call at approximately 9:30 Monday morning. Law enforcement responded to the scene as well as a military working dog from Columbus Air Force Base. After a thorough search of the building, the threat was cleared. Employees were allowed to return inside around 2:30 p.m. The store opened for business approximately one hour later, Swan said. The incident is under investigation. Photo by: Zach Odom/Dispatch Staff
