The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department and the Columbus Police Department:
Joel Lee Conner, 44, of 181 Wenonah Drive, was arrested on Wolfe Road by the Caledonia Town Marshall Oct. 4 and charged with possession of methamphetamine, improper equipment, no insurance, driving with a suspended drivers license and possession of marijuana in a vehicle. He was released Oct. 9 on a $7,400 bond. His court date is scheduled for Oct. 29.
Christopher William Pritchard, 33, of 1620 Third Ave. N., was arrested Oct. 9 and charged with violation of probation.
Alicia Marie Sluyter, 24, of 130 Willie Brewer Road, was arrested at her residence by CPD Oct. 9 and charged with felony fraudulent use of an ID. Her court date is scheduled for Dec. 19.
Tomekia Shanple Sykes, 36, of 933 Herman Shirley Road in West Point, was arrested on Highway 45 N., by LCSO Oct. 9 and charged with felony false pretense. She was released the same day on a $2,500 bond. Her court date is scheduled for Nov. 12.
Devin Eugene Vail, 19, of 156 Ward Road, was arrested on Highway 182 E., by LCSO Oct. 4 and charged with grand larceny-more than $500, possession of paraphernalia and four counts of failure to appear.
Allison Renee Young, 22, of 80 E. Plum St., was arrested on Highway 182 E., by LCSO Oct. 7 and charged with possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended drivers license, expired tag, resisting arrest, no insurance, providing false information, disobeying a traffic control device and possession of methamphetamine. Her court date is scheduled for Nov. 5.
