Investigators with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department have arrested Tommy Flowers and charged him with one count burglary.
Law enforcement officials believe Flowers, 18, of 260 Miley Loop, and an accomplice broke into a home at 90 Kay Drive and stole electronics, jewelry and other valuables.
Flowers and the accomplice then attempted to break into another home down the street when they were spotted by neighbors and fled the area.
Thanks to witnesses, Flowers was arrested by the LCSD less than two hours after he allegedly burglarized the Kay Drive home.
As of Thursday morning, Flowers was in the custody of the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center and has not yet received a bond.
Investigators are actively looking for Flowers’ accomplice.
Officials with the LCSD encourage anyone with information regarding the case to call 662-328-6788
