Wendy Tate, director of nursing at Mississippi HomeCare of Eupora, has been named the national Servant Leader of the Year by LHC Group, one of the nation’s leading providers of post-acute care services.
Tate, a registered nurse who has worked in home health for most of her career, joined the staff of Mississippi HomeCare in August 2006. She started with the agency as a team leader before progressing to branch manager and, eventually, her current role as director of nursing.
Don Stelly, LHC Group’s president and chief operating officer, was in Columbus recently to recognize and congratulate Tate.
