The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office reports the following felony arrests:
- Leporia Logan, 47, of 209 East Eighth St. in Carutherville, Mo., was arrested Dec. 14 by the LCSO and charged with false pretense. The court date is not set.
- Earnest Doyle White, 54, of 1004 Bennett Ave. in Columbus was arrested Dec. 14 by the Mississippi Department of Corrections and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Bond is set at $10,000, and the court date is not set.
- Demetrius Burgin, 24, of 40 Sydney Loop No. 3 in Columbus was arrested Dec. 14 by the LCSO and charged with possession of a controlled substance. He also was charged for the misdemeanors of resisting arrest and carrying a concealed weapon. Bond is set at $5,940, and the court date is not set.
- Eureka Sykes, 42, of 500 Redwood Drive in Columbus was arrested Dec. 15 by the Columbus Police Department and charged with fraudulent use of an ID. Bond is set at $2,500, and the court date is Jan. 19.
- Jerquavious Randy Brown, 18, of 500 Green Tree Drive No. H-33 in Columbus was arrested Friday by the LCSO and charged with grand larceny. His bond is set at $5,000, and the court date is not set.
- Jimmy Lee Peter White, 37, of 450 Downs Road in Columbus was arrested Friday by the LCSO and charged with rape. He also was charged with the misdemeanor of possession of marijuana. His bond is set at $25,520, and the court date is Jan. 31.
- Virgil Lee Harris, 21, of 705 Military Road No. A in Columbus was arrested Friday by the CPD and charged with possession of cocaine. His court date is not set.
- John Osy Nelson, 65, of 156 Downs Road in Columbus was arrested Saturday by the LCSO and charged with grand larceny and burglary. His bond is set at $10,000, and the court date is not set.
- Michael Kevin Taylor, 38, of 373 Plymouth Road in Columbus was arrested Saturday by the CPD and charged with possession of a weapon by a felon and domestic violence. His bond is set at $10,606, and the court date is Jan 25.
- Renaldo Demunn Collins, 30, of 3561 Sand Road in Steens was arrested Saturday by the CPD and charged with driving under the influence and possession of cocaine. His bond is set at $15,000, and the court date is Jan. 4.
- Timothy Jermaine Harris, 23, of 1394 John Smart Road in Crawford was arrested Monday by the LCSO and charged with grand larceny. His bond is set at $10,000, and his court date is not set.
- Corwin Migull Reed, 21, of 2227 Eighth Ave. S. in Columbus was arrested Tuesday by the LCSO and charged with malicious mischief. His court date is not set.
- Timothy Ernest Kidd, 31, of Anderson Grove Road in Columbus was arrested Tuesday by the LCSO and charged with malicious mischief. His court date is not set.
- Brandon Tyre Brooks, 22, of 707 Waterworks Road in Columbus was arrested Tuesday by the LCSO and charged with malicious mischief. His court date is not set.
