STARKVILLE — Starkville’s breakfast bandit was captured this week, after seven months on the lam.
Starkville Police say on April 1, Andre Fitzgerald Hall, 27, of 201. E. Wood St., took “bringing home the bacon” a bit too literally, disguising himself as a guest at the Holiday Inn Express and wandering through the hotel before making a detour through the kitchen, where he purloined two cases of bacon and six cases of waffles.
Now, Hall faces felony charges for commercial burglary.
Starkville Police apprehended Hall on Thursday after finding him in an attic at Green Tree Apartments on Lynn Lane. He was arrested without incident and is currently being held in the Oktibbeha County Jail.
