Columbus police responded to a 911 call Monday morning that a number of vehicles at the 900 block of 10th Street North had windows busted out in a parking lot.
Two officers arrived on scene at 8 a.m. where three vehicles had the front passenger-side window busted out.
The vehicles were: a white Mercury Grand Marquis; a silver Honda Accord; and a black Ford Fusion.
According to one person on scene, this isn’t the first auto break-in to happen in the area.
“They busted out windows on a car out on the street last week,” the man said. “Then, all this happened. That’s four in one week.”
One of the vehicle owners said it was his car that was broken into last week and he said “they stole everything.” However, this time only compact disks were stolen from the vehicles.
The vehicles were located behind a residence on the block and in a garage.
