Bond has been set at $1 million for a West Point man accused of murdering his son.
Walter McClure”s bond was set by Municipal Court Judge Mark Cliett Monday morning.
The 69-year-old is accused of shooting his son, Michael “Shane” McClure, 48, to death shortly before midnight Saturday. West Point police officers arrived at 507 Converse Drive to find Walter McClure laying on top of his son.
Evidence gathered at the scene led to McClure”s arrest.
The WPPD has released no further details regarding the shooting.
