The Oktibbeha County Election Commission is looking for poll workers.
Circuit Clerk Angie McGinnis announced Tuesday the commission is looking for poll workers to staff the 21 voting precincts in Oktibbeha County during the upcoming primary election. Interested persons must be registered voters in Oktibbeha County and cannot be a relative to any candidate seeking election or an active member of any candidate”s campaign.
A two-hour workshop will be held at the Oktibbeha County Courthouse annex June 13 at 10 a.m.
Citizens must register for the workshop at the Circuit Clerk”s office at 108 West Main St. on or before June 9. Current poll workers should not attend the meeting.
