STARKVILLE — The Rotary Classic Rodeo begins tonight at the Mississippi Horse Park.
More than 330 riders will converge on the 100-acre park south of Starkville.
Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
Adult tickets cost $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Kids 12 and younger get in free.
On Saturday, gates open at 5 pm. with a free petting zoo and pony rides. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
Adult tickets cost $12 in advance and $15 at the door, but children”s tickets cost $5 and only kids 2 and younger get in free.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Greater Starkville Development Partnership, the Starkville Daily News and Oktibbeha County Co-Op in Starkville or Mitchell Dodge in West Point.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Create Foundation”s Starkville/Oktibbeha Achieving Results organization, which supports local efforts in education, beautification, historic preservation, human services and community infrastructure.
The Mississippi Horse Park is located at 716 E. Poor House Road, Starkville.
