The latest Lowndes County circuit court term has ended, delaying several high-profile trials, like that of Robert Triplett, until February.
Triplett, 57, of 181 Golding Road, has already pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography in federal court Aug. 27, but also faces a state charge of child exploitation.
He was arrested in October 2009 after investigators looking for evidence in the case of his missing stepdaughter found child porn on his computer. Then-21-year-old Kaila Morris has been missing since Sept. 17, 2009.
His trial was continued by 16th District Circuit Judge Lee Howard until Feb. 22 because the defense attorney was unavailable, according to court records.
The following defendants were sentenced in the latter half of the November term:

- William Clark Floyd, of 2400 Highway 15 S. in Woodland, pleaded guilty to attempting to possess methamphetamine. Floyd”s four-year sentence in the Mississippi Department of Corrections was suspended and he was given four years of probation instead and fined $500.
- Ashley Keyes, of 105 Winchester Drive, pleaded guilty to felony false pretense, writing a bad check. Keyes” three-year sentence in MDOC was suspended and she was given three years of probation, fined $500 and ordered to pay $458.78 in restitution to the Uniform Center and the district attorney”s office.
- Jordan Hartzell, of 8061 Highway 12 in Steens, pleaded guilty to possession of meth, .1 to 2 grams, and possession of meth precursors. Hartzell was sentenced concurrently to six years in MDOC with five years of post-release supervision and was fined $5,000.
- Crystal Sessum, of 4525 Cal-Kolola Road in Caledonia, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. Fifteen years of her 20-year sentence in MDOC were suspended with five years of post-release supervision and she was fined $1,000.
- Kolby Andrews, of 355 JMAC Road, was adjudicated guilty of the taking of a motor vehicle. Andrews” five-year sentence in MDOC was suspended and he was given five years of probation, fined $1,000 and ordered to pay $155 in restitution.
- Alex “Eddie” Lee Cotton, of 337 Swedenburg Circle, pleaded guilty to robbery and burglary of a dwelling. Cotton received concurrent sentences of 18 years in MDOC with five years of post-release supervision, fined $500 and ordered to pay $20 in restitution.
- Jim Young Jr., of 1011 Fifth St. S., pleaded guilty to the burglary of an automobile. He was sentenced to seven years in MDOC, fined $500 and ordered to pay $50 in restitution.
- Thomas Bonner Jr., of 34 Pickens Drive, pleaded guilty to possession of Benzylpiperazin. Bonner was sentenced to two years in MDOC with five years of post-release supervision and was fined $1,000.
- Patricia White, of 11981 Lorene Lane in Brookwood, Ala., pleaded guilty to possession of Pseudoephedrine more than 15 grams. White”s five-year sentence was suspended with five years of probation and she was fined $500.
- Panesha Shields, of 610 22nd St. N. Apt. C, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, .1 to 2 grams. Shields was sentenced to two years in MDOC with five years of post-release supervision and was fined $500.
- Freddie Webber, of 415 24th St. N., pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Webber was sentenced to six years in MDOC with four years of post-release supervision and fined $500.
- Tashina Thompson, of 200 S. Columbus St. in Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to identification theft. Her 10-year sentence in MDOC was suspended and she was give five years of probation, fined $200 and ordered to pay $242 in restitution.
- Timothy Leech, of 82 Belle Circle, pleaded guilty to three counts of identification theft. Leech”s consecutive five-year sentences were suspended and he was given five years of probation and was fined $200 for each count.
- Eric R. Henry, of 1111 Fifth St. S., pleaded guilty to false pretense. Henry”s three-year sentence in MDOC was suspended, he was ordered to serve three years of post-release supervision, was fined $750 and was ordered to pay $2,733.95 in restitution.
- Anthony McClinton, of 613 14th St. N., pleaded guilty to the sale of cocaine and possession of cocaine. He received concurrent sentences, giving him 15 years in MDOC with five years of post-release supervision and a $5,000 fine.
- Gary Dale Moore, of 25 Nash Road, pleaded guilty to simple assault on a fireman. He was sentenced to a year in MDOC with four years of post-release supervision and fined $500. He was also ordered to take medication prescribed by medical personnel.
