The Columbus Community Resource Connection will give away more than 600 “gently used” coats Tuesday.
Jennifer Garrard, director of the Community Resource Connection, says the coats will be distributed for free on a first-come-first-served basis from 12-3 p.m. at the Columbus Municipal Complex.
The coats and jackets range in all sizes from children”s to adults”. Multiple coats will be given away to each individual.
“They can get at least five or six. Our goal is to get rid of them,” said Garrard.
The coats were donated by First United Methodist Church in Columbus.
