Dream 365, a weekend celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, recently was selected by the Southeast Tourism Society as one of the Top 20 Events for Spring 2010.
The Top 20 Events list began in 1985 as a way to promote the best events in the Southeast. Dream 365 was nominated by the Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The annual Dream 365 MLK Weekend Celebration — set for Jan. 15-18, 2010 — has received the STS Top 20 Events award two years in a row.
The Top 20 Events publication is sent to more than 1,600 newspapers, magazines, radio stations, TV stations, AAA publications and others, circulating to millions of people.
Founded in 1983, the Southeast Tourism Society promotes and develops tourism to its 12 member states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
