The following actions were taken during the current session of 16th Circuit Court in Lowndes County:
Judge James Kitchens presiding
- Eric Whitten, of 2376 Moorehead Road in McShan, Ala., pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamines-less than two grams. Whitten was sentenced to three years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections and five years post-release supervision.
- Sean Hodges, of 578 Highway 45 N. Frontage Road in Columbus, pleaded guilty to felony DUI-third offense. Hodges was sentenced to one year of house arrest and four years probation in lieu of five years in MDOC.
- Amanda Vice, of 40759 Highway 45 S. in Hamilton, Miss., pleaded guilty attempted possession of methamphetamines. Vice was sentenced to four years probation.
- Damien Fenton, of 415 24th St. N. in Columbus, pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling. Fenton was sentenced to five years in MDOC and five years post-release supervision.
- Shawn Bradley, of 95 Suggs Road in Columbus, pleaded guilty to simple assault of a youth court administrator. Bradley was sentenced to five years in MDOC.
- Christopher Sprinkle, of 300 S. Lehmberg Road No. 65 in Columbus, pleaded guilty to burglary. Sprinkle was sentenced to five years in MDOC, all suspended, and five years probation.
- John Love Jr., of 6303 Hardy Billups Road in Crawford, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and violation of probation for receiving stolen property. Love was sentenced to 11 years MDOC and five years post-release supervision.
- Melissa Estes, of 257 Mt. Carmel Road in Millport, Ala., pled guilty to possession of precursors and violation of probation. Estes was sentenced to 20 years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $5,000.
- Jason Criswell, of 1252 Old Reform-Gordon Road in Reform, Ala., pleaded guilty to transfer of a forged prescription. Criswell was sentenced to five years in MDOC, all suspended, and five years probation.
- Vickie Jane Peeks, of 311 Priscilla Circle in Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of precursors. Peeks was sentenced to 18 years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $5,000.
- Rachel Cook, of 1523 Hughes Road in Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of oxycodone. Cook was sentenced to five years in MDOC, all suspended, and five years probation.
- Gary Hodges, of 182 Clover St. in Columbus, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and felony fleeing of a law enforcement officer. Hodges was sentenced to four years in MDOC and three years post-release supervision.
- Kyle Hughes, of 1421 McDavis Road in Columbus, pleaded guilty to grand larceny. Hughes was sentenced to one year in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and ordered to pay $2,000 in fines and restitution.
- Theresa Sorrels, of 861 Austin Road in Vernon, Ala., pleaded guilty to possession of precursors. Sorrels was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $5,000.
- George Lawson Jr., of 688 Ward Road Lot 1 in Columbus, pleaded guilty to burglary of an occupied dwelling. Lawson was sentenced to 20 years in MDOC and five years post-release supervision.
- Walter Brogdon, of 54 Hollis Drive in Vernon, Ala., pleaded guilty to grand larceny. Brogdon was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC.
- Justin Thompson, of 4961 Yellow Creek Road in Vernon, Ala., pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine less than one-tenth of a gram. Thompson was sentenced to six months in Lowndes County Jail.
- Telesia Jones, of 2073 Water Bell Road in Starkville, pleaded guilty to embezzlement. Jones was sentenced to five years probation.
- Obra Lee, of 205 20th St. N. in Columbus, was found guilty of shoplifting-habitual offender, third offense in seven years. Lee was sentenced to five years in MDOC.

- Tammie Honeycutt, of 396 Martin Road in Caledonia, pleaded guilty to possession of precursors. Honeycutt was sentenced to four years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision, and fined $5,000.
- Charles Kornegay, of 226 Conway Drive in Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces. Kornegay was sentenced to one year house arrest and two years probation.
- Royquez Lowe, of 1143 Casey Lane in Columbus, pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling and violated probation for prior burglary charge. Lowe was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC and five years post-release supervision.
- Ashley Pierce, of 423 Springdale Road in Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of stolen property. Pierce was sentenced to five years in MDOC, all suspended, and five years probation.
- Tyrie L. Shields, of 610 22nd St. N. in Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine more than 2 grams. Shields was sentenced to four years in MDOC and fined $1,000.
- Dennis Smith, of 300 S. Lehmberg Road No. 65, pleaded guilty to burglary. Smith was sentenced to five years probation.
- Lester Wade Howard, of 311 Downs Road in Columbus, pleaded guilty to sale of marijuana. Howard was sentenced to three years probation.
- Gregory Foley, of 199 Dewey Drive in Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of two or more precursors and possession of oxycodone. Foley was sentenced to 15 years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $5,000.
- Marty Gilreath, of 3728 County Road No. 23 in Fayette, Ala., pleaded guilty to possession of two or more methamphetamine precursors. Gilreath was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $5,000.
- Gerry Wayne Carter, of 1147 Tabernacle Road in Columbus, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of cocaine less than two grams. Carter was sentenced to 12 years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $50,000.
- Casey Hollis, of 843 Military Grove Road in Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of two or more precursors. Hollis was sentenced to six years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $5,000.
- Rhonda Richardson, of 1214 Phillip Hill Road in Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of a forged prescription. Richardson was sentenced to three years in MDOC.
- Tabarris Conner, of 511 Fifth St. S. in Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine less than 10 grams. Conner was sentenced to four years in MDOC and five years post-release supervision.
- Robert Brian Jones, of 565 Cal-Vernon Road in Caledonia, violated probation. Jones was sentenced to five years in MDOC.
- Christopher Sherron, of 1105 Seventh St. N. in Columbus, pleaded guilty to robbery. Sherron was sentenced to 15 years in MDOC.
- Phillip C. Jordan, of 301 Bishop Circle in Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana less than 250 grams. Jordan was sentenced to one year in MDOC and two years post-release supervision.
- Joe Durrah Jr., of 365 Harris Drive in Columbus, violated probation. Durrah was sentenced to eight years in MDOC.
- Kendrick Silas, of 1200 Strong Ave. in Greenwood, pleaded guilty to grand larceny. Silas was sentenced to five years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and ordered to pay $19,293 in fines and restitution.
- Timothy Livingston, of 1322 Mike Parra Road Lot 51 in Columbus, pleaded guilty to robbery. Livingston was sentenced to five years in MDOC and five years post-release supervision.
- Franklin Walker, of 263 Priscilla Circle in Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine precursors. Walker was sentenced to 20 years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $5,000.
- Gus Thomas, of 120 20th St. S.W. in Reform, Ala., pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine less than two grams. Thomas was sentenced to five years in MDOC and fined $50,000.
