STARKVILLE — Two finalists remain in the search for a new dean of students at Mississippi State University.
Dr. Thomas Bourgeois, who now serves as associate dean of students at MSU, and Dr. Jeffrey Coats, the associate dean of students at Bowling Green State University, are the two remaining candidates. Bourgeois and Coats were selected from an applicant pool of nearly 30 professionals from the around the country, according to an MSU release.
Both finalists have accepted the university”s invitation to interview on campus with several different campus groups. Additional information will be released in the future regarding both the finalists and the specifics of the interviews.
Mike White is retiring from his position of dean of students at MSU on June 30.
