We can always trust God to help us when things start going wrong in our lives because He’s trustworthy. “As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.” (Psalm 18:30) KJV
Sometimes in life, everything can be going along smoothly. Then all of a sudden, everything that could possibly go wrong, goes wrong. It can be a broken engagement, our car breaks down or we get a letter from IRS saying we have to pay back a lot of money. However, we can’t let these things stress us out. We have to trust God to work these things out for us. “But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say,” You are my God.” (Psalm 31:14) NKJV
It’s easy to trust God when everything is going great, but when things start going wrong in our lives, we struggle to trust God. During these times, we have to know that trusting God will help us get through anything. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.” (Jeremiah 17:7) NKJV
Life sometimes throws us a curve ball, especially when we’re faced with one tragedy after another. We lose our home and everything we have by fire, a tornado or we lose a lot of our relatives at one time by a bad car accident. When these things happen to us, we have to keep trusting God to bring us out. Then, we can be like Job and say, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” (Job 13:15) NKJV
There are times when it seems like as soon as our circumstances begin to take a turn for the better, something will go wrong and set us back. When things don’t go as planned, make sense or when we don’t see things working out, we have to trust God and know He’s working it out on our behalf. “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.” (Psalm 37:5) NIV
Unexpected storms will come in our lives when we least expect them to come. We don’t know how or when they will hit, but God assures us they will come. In times like these, we have to trust God and know He’s right there to go through the storms of life with us. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5) KJV
So be encouraged today and always remember: No matter what we go through in life, our trust in the Lord will be what always pulls us through. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.” (Psalm 62:8) KJV
