East Mississippi Community College will host an Oktoberfest celebration Saturday at Lions Hills Center and Golf Club to benefit the school’s golf team and culinary arts program.
The day will open with a four-person scramble, with registration beginning at 10 a.m. and the shotgun start at 11 a.m. The Oktoberfest begins at 3 p.m..
“We’ll have a beer festival, live music, German food, football will be on,” EMCC golf coach Ashton Maddaloni said. “It’s going to be a really fun time.”
There also will be a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle and beer tasting.
