The following area students were recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest selective all-discipline collegiate honor society.
Christy Massey, Breauna Gardner and Gemini Majkowski, all of Columbus, were initiated at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Hunter Short of Columbus was initiated at Auburn University.
Andrea Melchiorre of Starkville was initiated at Mississippi State University.
James Robbins of Brooksville was initiated at University of West Alabama.
These residents are among approximately 30,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter.
