Downtown Columbus’ Spring Open House April 5-6 offers area residents and visitors yet another good reason to be out and about in the Golden Triangle this coming weekend. Participating merchants will offer promotions and door prizes Friday and Saturday.
“After a long, wet winter, let’s get ready for spring with Downtown Open House,” said Main Street Columbus Executive Director Barbara Bigelow. “Head downtown April 5 and 6, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., visit your hometown merchants and see for yourself why downtown continues to be a popular destination for residents and visitors alike.”
Fifteen participating merchants including boutiques, gift shops and some eateries will offer discounts from 10 to 30 percent on designated merchandise, plus door prize drawings for items ranging from freshly-ground coffee to gift certificates.
Discover new spring trends, products for the home, fashions to lift spirits, desserts, snacks, art, jewelry and other great items, Bigelow urged.
“And, don’t forget to enjoy our fabulous restaurants,” she added. “The downtown Spring Open House gives customers the opportunity to shop for upcoming special occasions such as Easter, Mother’s Day, graduations and other events that might require a special gift. It’s a great time to get out of the house and stroll through historic Downtown Columbus!”
