Downtown Columbus Spring Open House is just around the corner. On Friday and Saturday, March 23-24, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., businesses will show why downtown continues to be a popular destination for residents and visitors alike, said Main Street Columbus Executive Director Barbara Bigelow. Participating merchants will offer refreshments, special discounts, unique promotions and door prize drawings.
The weekend is an opportunity to shop local and dine in the heart of the city. Snack, shop and stroll to check out gift, boutique and specialty buys; coffee and desserts; art, jewelry and clothing; books, games and many other offerings.
“And don’t forget to enjoy our fabulous restaurants,” Bigelow said.
“The Downtown Spring Open House gives customers the opportunity to shop for upcoming special occasions such as Easter, Mother’s Day, graduations and other events that might require a special gift,” the director continued. “Main Street Columbus is committed to driving traffic downtown, helping our local establishments prosper and keeping downtown active and attractive.”
