The devil is our enemy. It’s not if he’s coming, it’s when. That’s why as Christians we have to stay spiritually prepared with every piece of the armor of God. So when he comes with his tricks and schemes, we can let him know, enough is enough. “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” (Ephesians 6:11) NIV
We have to constantly watch out for the devil at all times because he will come to tempt us in our weakest moments. Right then, we have to let him know, get out of my way, enough is enough. “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.” (1 Peter 5:8) NLT
Just when everything is going good and we’re having a good day, the devil will send someone to mess up our day. It can be a family member, co-worker or supervisor. In times like these, we have to resist the devil and let him know; I refuse to let you ruin my day, enough is enough. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) KJV
At some point in our lives, we have to get mad with the devil and let him know: No longer will I allow you to steal my happiness, blessings, peace or my children. God gave them to me and you can’t have them, enough is enough. “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” (John 10:10) NLT
When the devil tries to plant seeds of doubt, fear, and unbelief in our minds, we have to let him know, “My mind belongs to Jesus and He’s greater than you.” So move out of my way; enough is enough. “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4) KJV
It’s important that we understand that even if we defeat the devil today, that doesn’t mean he won’t come back again to try to deceive us with the same lie. No matter how many times he comes back, we have to keep speaking the word like Jesus and let him know, enough is enough. “Jesus answered, ‘It is written: Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4) NIV
So be encouraged today and always remember: God has given us power to let the devil know, enough is enough. “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19) KJV
