God has always been faithful to us, and we’re living proof of that. He was faithful to us in the past and He will continue to be faithful to us in the future. “O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.” (Isaiah 25:1) NIV
Although life may seem to throw hard and heavy blows at us, we have to take the time to recognize God’s faithfulness in our lives. God is faithful to us at all times. His love for us will never run out, and His mercies will never come to an end, for they are new every morning. “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” (Lamentations 3:22-23) NLT
The temptations that we face are no different from what others experience. However, God is faithful at all times; He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can stand. When it is more than we can handle, He will show us a way out. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13) KJV
Even when evil people try to harm us in some way, God is faithful at all times. He assures us He will keep us safe in His divine protection. “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” (2 Thessalonians 3:3) NIV
No matter how many promises God has made to us or how long it has been since He made them, we can look for them to come to pass. Unlike people, God does not lie or forget; He always does what He says He will do. Anyone who has faith in Him will never be disappointed because God is faithful at all times. “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised.” (Hebrews 10:23) KJV
God’s faithfulness towards us is not based on our faithfulness towards Him, and it’s not based on what we do; His faithfulness flows from His unchanging nature and love for us and He is forever faithful to us at all times. “If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” (2 Timothy 2:13) NKJV
So be encouraged today and always remember: God’s faithfulness never stops; it goes from generation to generation. “Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures.” (Psalm 119:90) NIV
