James Larry Henderson and the late Penelope “Penny” Carpenter Henderson of Humboldt, Tennessee, announce the engagements of their daughter, Audra Henderson to Jason Barron, both of Jackson, Tennessee, the son of the late Jerry L. and Anna Woods Barron of Starkville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late William W. “Billy” and Frances Huff Carpenter of Reform, Alabama, the late James L. “Lavern” and Verona Henderson of Columbus and the late Elsie Keasler Henderson of Reform. She is a graduate of Pickens County High School in Reform. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama and a master’s degree in education from Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee. She is currently employed as a school nutrition consultant for the state of Tennessee.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late William T. and Vera Shepherd Barron of Starkville, the late Roy E. and Hazel Pauline Thomas of Barry, Texas, and the late Virgil H. Woods of Starkville.
He is a graduate of Starkville High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University in Starkville and his master of business degree from Belhaven University in Jackson. He is currently employed as an industrial engineer in Jackson, Tennessee.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. Nov. 12, 2022, at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Tennessee.
