The Hitching Lot Farmers’ Market and Starkville Community Market will offer lots of produce, baked goods and other unique items for the home.
Hitching Lot is open from 7-10 a.m. Saturdays, 4-6 p.m. Mondays and 7-10 a.m. Thursdays.
Starkville Community Market is open from 8-11 a.m. Saturdays at Fire Station Park. It includes the Mayor’s Corner, where Starkville Mayor Lynn Spruill will be available to chat.
Items available at the markets include:
■ Produce: lettuce, green onions, turnips, microgreens, herbs, tomatoes, cucumbers, blueberries
■ Plants: flowers, strawberry hanging baskets, waxplants
■ Cottage goods: jams, jellies, candles, bath and beauty products, soy wax candles, wax melts, goatmilk soap, olive oil soap, baked goods, boiled peanuts, salsa, tomato juice, cashew crunch, knick knacks
West Point Farmers Market will open at 4 p.m. June 2.
