The P.E.O. Mississippi State Board recognized Tracy Cook as a 50-year member. She was initiated in 1972 on the Gulf Coast. She later transferred her membership to Chapter O in Columbus. Pam Bullock presented Cook the certificate at the May Chapter O meeting. Also pictured is Ginny Butler, a Chapter O member. A donation was also given in Tracy’s honor by the MS Board to the Miram Scarbrough Scholarship, a scholarship given to high school senior girls who plan to attend a Mississippi college. P.E.O. is a philanthropic educational organization that raises money for women’s educational scholarships for high school to doctoral level students. It also provides stewardship for Cottey College, a women’s college in Nevada, Missouri.
