We’re dealing with a worldwide pandemic that’s highly contagious and spreading faster than any of the other COVID-19 variants. A lot of people are testing positive with this virus daily. Some people are recovering from it and some are still dying from it. However, we have to keep praying to God to heal the land and know “this too shall pass.” “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14) KJV
This pandemic has taken an emotional toll on many of us, and we find ourselves feeling stressed out, anxious and depressed. During these times, we have to realize “this too shall pass.” Then the peace of God will keep us calm and focused in the midst of what we’re going through. “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7) KJV
While we’re going through this pandemic, it’s natural for us to be concerned because the doctors don’t know how long this virus will last, or how bad things might get. That’s why we have to keep looking to Jesus for help and know “this too shall pass.” “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:1-2) KJV
Every day it seems like we’re faced with some kind of challenge to test our faith. Maybe it’s food shortage, shortage of workers, or canceled flights. “This too shall pass” “My brethren, count it all joy while you fall into various trials, Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience” (James 1:2-3) NKJV
Some of us have loved ones that have been in the hospital for months with this virus. Nevertheless, we have to keep trusting God to heal them and know this too shall pass.” Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you” (Psalm 9:10) NIV
Things are tough right now, due to the rising prices of gas and groceries, but “this too shall pass.” No matter what happens, we can be assured that Jesus will supply us with what we need. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) KJV
So be encouraged today and always remember: whatever is going on in our lives, “this too shall pass” in God’s time and season. “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1) KJV
